How moving C-arms works

Moving C-arms starts with a short call or a quote request. Tell us the make and model, the pickup and delivery addresses, the dimensions and weight, and any access limits such as stairs, elevators or a loading dock. We confirm the truck type, the crew size and the pickup window, then dispatch a hot shot vehicle that runs direct from pickup to delivery with no terminal stops.

A C-arm is top-heavy and carries a delicate image intensifier or flat panel, so we lock the arc and wheels, pad the unit and secure it upright on air-ride equipment so it is not stressed in transit.

On arrival the crew checks the path, protects floors and walls, moves the equipment to the room you choose and removes the packing material. Photos and a signed delivery receipt close out the move.

How to prepare your C-arms for transport

• Confirm in writing whether the manufacturer (OEM) or a certified biomedical engineer must de-install and re-install the unit, and book them before the pickup date.
• Back up data, then remove or wipe protected health information so the move stays HIPAA-compliant.
